Convenient to downtown, Chimney Rock, Lake Lure and Asheville this is the best of both worlds. A private deck off the master bedroom features a relaxing hot tub spa for your enjoyment. The rustic fireplace and comfortable living area are perfect for movie nights in front of the 42' flat screen tv. The Cabin at 'Rooster Ridge' is cozy, clean and waiting for you.

"cabin was very neat and clean. everything in working order. enjoyed the 42'' t.v. with sat. reception. driveway a little tricky for long wheelbase vehicles. hot tub was a wonderful place of refuge after a long day of wandering! we plan to return at different time of year to view fall foilage. plenty of good eating establishments for all tastes."

"We originally had booked for earlier in the year but due to circumstances could not make the original trip. The owners were wonderful in working with me on rescheduling...We were finally able to make my visit recently and it was well worth the wait. The cabin and all that it offers is wonderful.
The cabin is wonderfully decorated. It is spacious enough to feel like you can more around yet cozy as well. The rocking chairs on the front porch are awesome!...The kitchen has most everything you need (we cooked multiple meals), th other amenities were very nice with plenty to keep you occupied if you choose to stay in and relax (TV, DVD player, Internet & PC with wireless if you travel with a laptop like us). The hot tub was clean (believe me I have been in cabins where this was NOT the case)...The cabin is conveniently located to shopping (Wal-Mart has it all), eating, and sight seeing (even as a NC native I was surprised at how close we were to Chimney Rock). We hit Asheville as well.
We plan on going back later in the year, this time bringing friends along this time...We would recommend Rooster Ridge and its wonderful owners for your vacation needs!"

"WOW!! Is the first word that comes to mind!! This cabin was everything it said it would be and MORE!! Let me just say. . I was coming off of a VERY bad week. . I had even contemplated calling the trip off! But when I got there and walked through that front door, it was all worth it. I instantly breathed a sign of relief and was formally ready to enjoy my 5 year wedding anniversary with the man of my dreams!! The cabin was clean to my liking--and I am very picky! I'm the type that bring their own towels and cleaning supplies to places. . but at Rooster Ridge, I didn't have to!!! My husband and I sat on the nice rocking chair front porch and admired the mountain views and the silence! We only used the kitchen once, but it was more than equipped with the items we needed. The owners have wonderful taste and I am sooo excited that I got a chance to spend my anniversary there. While there, we visited Chimney Rock, Cherokee, and Gatlinburg, which were not very far from the cabin, at the most 2 hours. I plan to tell all of my friends and family about our experience, and we plan to visit again and this time bring our daughter!!! This cabin truly was a "home away" from home!
