Reviews

  • Nice cabin in the woods

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin in the Western NC woods. The positives.. a quiet and private setting that's still a conveneient location (only 15 minutes from the highway). Front porch and family room are both very comfortable spots. A/C, large eat-in kitchen, new washer/dryer and big front yard. The only negatives were the Internet capabilities (extremely sloooooow...not sure why) and game room was a bit of a disappointment (not well kept).

  • Clean, cozy, and quiet

My sister, mom, and I rented this cabin with our two dogs and had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean upon arrival and was one of the most well equipped rentals we've ever experienced. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to use all of the available amenities like the hot tub or fire pit because we simply ran out of time! We did attempt the hot tub one night and saw that it was clean and in good working order, but got too tired and ended up in bed. The drive up and down the winding road to the house is like a fun amusement park ride (follow Richard's directions, GPS took us beyond the house). We agree with another reviewer that the living room and master bedroom can use more light. Also, the bathtub is set higher than usual and can be difficult for people with physical limitations to get in and out of. Nothing a sturdy step stool can't fix. We enjoyed breakfast on the porch every morning. If you have a courageous dog like mine, she might leap right off the porch through the open rails in pursuit of a rabbit 😰🐶. Richard answered all questions thoroughly and promptly. Wish we could've stayed longer. We would definitely recommend this cabin!
